Hi I'm Mikki, Edgard & Cooper's Pet Nutritionist. I work very closely with the product team and brand to make sure we incorporate proper nutrition for complete and balanced recipes.

What sets our food aside from most pet food brands, is that we use fresh meat that doesn't undergo any preserving process to stay fresh and delicious. In fact, our process only takes 24 hours from ingredient to kibble. Which means it also keeps its natural nutrients and antioxidants that your dog needs for all-round good health.

We always aim for our production process to be of the highest quality, which produces best-in-class end products.

While finding the right size of dog bites can depend on multiple factors, in general we advise smaller-sized bites for dogs up to 15kg. If your dog weighs more than 15kg, we suggest giving larger-sized bites a try.

Which size of bites do I need to choose for my dog?

Every product in our cat range is perfectly suited to your neutered cat. Because your furry friend will have a lower need for energy from food, we recommend that you follow the recommended daily quantities on our packaging. Take a peek at our cat feeding guidelines to decide how much to feed your cat.

Which recipes are suitable for my neutered cat? 

We believe that cats are family, so they should always be fed real food. That's why all our recipes are completely junk free while other cat food brands might often contain junk like meat meal, artificial nasties, lots of sugar, and are filled with cheap grains. 
Instead, we use wholesome, natural ingredients with high nutritional value to help cats live happy, healthy (nine) lives. We only use the freshest, yummiest meat and fish and we never include pre-processed meat meal, artificial nasties, added sugar or grains in our favourite feline's food.

What do you mean with junk free?

Our kibble, paté, and chunks in sauce are all complete and balanced. So, you can feed these recipes to your cat without needing any supplements. Satisfaction guaranteed.

Are all Edgard & Cooper recipes complete and balanced?

We recommend feeding a mix of Edgard & Cooper wet and dry food to your cat, because both have different benefits. Cats aren't the best water drinkers, so they benefit from the extra moisture in wet food to help them maintain a healthy kidney function. Wet food is also lower in calories and perfect for picky cats as it’s more juicy. Dry food on the other paw, is ideal to graze on throughout the day and a great way to add some crunch to every munch. 

Do you recommend feeding wet and dry food together, or choosing one on its own?

All our recipes are free from artificial colours, flavours, or preservatives. Just naturally tasty real food, with the freshest possible ingredients. We're massive fans of mother nature and only use natural preservatives, like vitamin E from sunflower seeds.

Do you use any artifical preservatives in your recipes?

Most traditional cat food brands contain meat meal in their food - made by burning meat (and all sorts of animal remains) at high temperatures to turn it into an icky powder -, lots of artifical colours or flavours, large amounts of sugar, and are filled with cheap grains. We don't consider this as real food. We're here to empower cat parents by telling you exactly what's in our food: fresh meat, natural ingredients, and some extra vitamins and minerals. No false claims, fake flavours, or feline felonies here. And definitely no meat meal. So you can be sure you're giving your furry family member the very best.
